Opus37 is the online sheet music library where anyone can be a music publisher. Our platform allows you to make any sheet music you wish available to a worldwide market.
We offer two types of sheet music on our website:
1. Sheet music you can download for free.
2. Sheet music you need to pay for to download or to be sent home as a print.
Step one is your registration as an Opus37 user. After this you can easily add your sheet music to our database. When you click on the button publish (at the top of your screen) you will be redirected to the upload page.
File format
Opus37 lets you easily convert a PDF file to a Opus37 file. They can view such files with our Opus37 reader (Opus37 reader).
Your files can be easily published on the Web, hence fast and easy access to them from anywhere across the globe..
You can only upload sheet music in PDF format. PDF documents can be read on most computers, E-readers and mobile phones. PDF docs can also be printed much easier and are of better quality then most other file types. You can convert your Word, PowerPoint and other types of files to PDF files, among others through Office (2007 or later), the free Openoffice Suite.

Once you are on the upload page you click on Upload your sheet music (top of the page) and you select the sheet music you wish to upload. Once the sheet music has been uploaded, you will be redirected to a page where you are required to add a title. Here you also select the category and subcategory (and possibly sub-subcategory) for your sheet music. To make sure that your sheet music is easy to find, it is important that you add a good summary and the appropriate tags (keywords related to your document).
You specify whether you want to receive a compensation per download. You can mark the box next to Yes, I want to receive a compensation per download. If you choose to offer it for free, anyone can view the sheet music. It is also possible to make it only available for viewing and not for downloading and printing.
The end user price includes transaction, brokerage fees, taxes and shipping costs. We never charge our customers any additional costs. We are transparent in what we and you earn. When choosing the end user price we show your earnings per sale.
For every sheet music that you sell you can choose the number of pages that are freely available viewable. When you upload sheet music where users need to pay for you can indicate which part of the sheet music can be viewed free of charge. These free pages are intended to provide users with a good insight in your sheet music. You decide the number of free pages. If a document is sold via Opus37, you will receive a notification. Payment of your margin takes place once a month with a minumum amount of EUR 25,-.
Your profile allows you to always see which sheet music you have uploaded. You can change the title, category, tags and description of each of your sheet music at any time.
